How to Create OAuth2 Credentials for Google Delphi Components
Astonsoft Google Delphi components use OAuth 2.0 protocol for authentication and authorization with Google services (Calendar, Tasks, Drive and Contacts).
Throughout OAuth authorization process, 2 variables are used:
•Consumer key known as: Client ID
•Consumer secret known as: Client secret
Compiled demo examples of all Google Delphi components include our developer client ID and client secret keys. In your demo or project, however, you will need to use your own credentials.
To obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials, follow these steps:
1.Visit the Google Developers Console and create the a client ID and client secret for your application
2.Pick "Desktop app" as application type
3.Visit the Dashboard page and click on the "ENABLE APIS AND SERVICES" button
4.Search for the desired APIs (i.e. Google Calendar), click on it and choose "Enable"
