How to Create OAuth2 Credentials for Google Delphi Components

Astonsoft Google Delphi components utilize OAuth 2.0 protocol for authentication and authorization with Google services (Calendar, Tasks, Drive and Contacts).

Throughout OAuth authorization process, 2 variables are used:

Consumer key known as: Client ID

Consumer secret known as: Client secret

Compiled demo examples of all Google Delphi components include our developer client ID and client secret keys. In your demo or project, however, you will need to use your own credentials.

To obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials, follow these steps:

1.Create your Google account

2.Visit the APIs & Services section in Google Cloud Platform and create a client ID and client secret for your application
